Story!

I’m your photographer and portrait stylist! I started dress up box as an experiment in daily makeup design all the way back in 2013. Through documenting my increasingly avant-garde looks, I stumbled upon my calling: photographing the freaks, weirdos, iconoclasts, enfants terribles, club kids, drag superstars, and everyone in between who desires something more than your garden variety step-and-repeat.

Over a decade and one MFA in Photography later, I founded Dress Up Box studio to create a gorgeous safe space for everyone to play and slay. Whether it’s at your event or in my photo studio in seattle’s CD, I’m here to capture what makes you you and photographically immortalize your fabulous self.

we’re here for your day.

  • You book a session and we go to work like undercover stealth agents to make sure your proposal pics go off without a hitch. You bring the ring and leave the photos and lighting to us!

    Kiss the stress goodbye, your day is about your love. We’ll make the photos and memories that’ll last a lifetime.

Headshots

Put your best face forward and showcase what makes you unique.

  • You come to the studio and we capture your inner gorgeousness to create your digital calling card. In a 45 min session we’ll shoot up to 3 different backdrop colors and 3 different outfits.

    Nervous in front of the camera? Fear not! From tunes, to posing advice you’re in excellent hands. We’ll put you at ease so your true self can shine through. By the end you’ll have 10 perfect, professionally retouched photos that capture what makes you you!
